The team behind the JMP Store is at it again. New features and developments will launch on Thursday, Dec. 14, with more enhancements planned for 2024. According to Digital Operations Senior Manager Falco Kronmüller, all of these changes – even those you or the customers can’t see – simplify the JMP Store and make it easier to buy JMP.
First things first…what’s new on Dec. 14?
- JMP cuts the last ties with SAS’ financial systems and consolidates with legacy systems to migrate to and integrate with a new subscription provider.
- The JMP Store integrates with a Merchant of Record that acts as an intermediary between JMP and our customers. This is an important step since it:
- Handles the responsibility for the payment process and for local taxes.
- Allows JMP to scale more easily in international markets.
- Offers additional payments methods, such as ACH/SEPA bank transfers.
- Shopping carts can now be preloaded with information from previous contracts.
- Customers have access to self-serve quotes that can be generated automatically.
And for 2024?
- January: The Japan JMP Store will go live.
- February: The global JMP Store will go live, accepting U.S. dollars at first, and then accepting euros.
- March and April: The JMP Store will integrate with JMP 18.
- May: JMP Pro and JMP Clinical will be added to the JMP Store.
- May-December: Other currencies will be accepted; the JMP Store will be localized and translated into other languages; JMP Partner and reseller portals will be added.
Congratulations and thanks to everyone who has worked so hard on these upgrades!
