What information would be relevant on the home page of the Community?
We asked this question to members of the JMP User Platform. Their responses (in order):
- Educational content or resources for learning JMP
- Upcoming events
- Technical support information
- Trending discussion posts
- Trending blog posts
With this knowledge, we redesigned the JMP User Community's home page. Let's take a tour.
- Most users visit the Community to find an answer to a question. This section provides quick access to the areas of the Community that will provide those answers. Ask a Question directs you to the Discussions board where you can ask other JMP users. Learn JMP provides educational content to expand your JMP knowledge. Get Support takes you to technical resources such as system requirements and the Technical Support knowledge base. If you don't think those are the areas you need, you can always perform a search.
- Access to education materials and upcoming events were the most requested items according to the survey results. This section of the home page provides access to both of those.
- Keep up-to-date on the latest discussions and discover new blog articles in this section (items 4 and 5 in the survey results).
- Discovery Summit is JMP's premier analytics conference. Quickly jump to the Discovery Summit section of the Community to learn about upcoming conferences or view past presentations.
One of our goals is to get you the information you need, when you need it, and expand your knowledge of JMP. We think the home page design takes a step closer to that goal.
