Sexta extracción de datos

Digamos que tengo los datos "12345278" y "12345078" y me gustaría extraer el sexto, ¿alguna fórmula que pueda usar?
Porque si usas Right(data,3), entonces los datos serán "278" o "078"

Cada secuencia debe extraerse en la columna diff, por lo que puede resultar bastante inconveniente usarla de esta manera: Izquierda(Derecha(datos,3),1)

¿Algún método sugerido para hacer esto?
