Retrieve Minitab results using OC CurvesHi everyone,
A Minitab user asked me how to reproduce an analysis with JMP.
Would you know how to do it using the OC Curves platform from JMP? @Mark_Bailey , @Jed_Campbell , any ideas?
Thanks a lot for your support.
Here are the details.
Input data for the Sampling Plan
- USL = 0.38 <= Don't know what to do with that value
- AQL = 0.1
- RQL=0.705
- Case 1: n = 112, and k (acceptance constant) = 2.723 <= Might be our c1, but I cannot input decimal values
- Case 2: n = 129 and k = 2.762
- Case 3: n = 160 and k = 2.762
Expected results are as follow
- Case 1: (n=112)
Supplier risk (=probability of rejecting a lot with %NC equal to AQL)=3.6% (blue line)
for a customer risk beta = 10%, %NC (=QRC)=0.705% (green line)
- Case 2: (n=159)
Supplier risk (=probability of rejecting a batch with % NC equal to AQL)=2.9% (blue line)
for a customer risk beta = 10%, %NC (=QRC)=0.562% (green line)
- Case 3: (n=160)
Supplier risk (=probability of rejecting a lot with %NC equal to AQL)=2.9% (blue line)
for a customer risk beta = 10%, %NC (=QRC)=0.561% (green line)

The way to do it using Minitab:

I tried to do it using the OC Curves platform, but I am facin
Re: Retrieve Minitab results using OC CurvesHI @Steph_Georges
Check out the JMP Acceptance Sampling Plan Add-In and use the variables sampling plan with option to compare sampling plans.
The AQL and RQL values are % probabilities so adjust the values accordingly as shown in the input dialog shown below.

The partial report shown below with the OC curves summary output for each plan compares to that produced by Minitab (0.964 and 0.036 versus 0.96398101 and 3.602% in JMP.
Make note of the Associated Probability Acceptance and Actual Risk at Specified Quality Level columns in the Plan Summary Table. One can make into a combined data table by using the red-triangle option next to plan details section of the report.

Re: Retrieve Minitab results using OC CurvesThat's a great Add-In, @stan_koprowski
Re: Retrieve Minitab results using OC CurvesThanks @stan_koprowski ! The user also wanted a graph with the various curves superimposed. This is exactly what I was looking for!
