We are happy to welcome Shuran Xu to JMP! Shuran joined the JMP team from CertCare in Lausanne, Switzerland. His previous work focused on customer success in the digital transformation of the supply chain. Additionally, Shuran has a background in hydrodynamic simulation and mathematical modeling. Shuran holds a Master's degree in Applied Bioinformatics from Cranfield University and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Liverpool in the UK.

And @PatrickGiuliano , of course I love to share. I was simulating the free movement of arbitrarily shaped and charged proteins in an electric field in a fluid. This topic can be categorised under micro-hydrodynamics as electrophoresis of rigid nanoparticles. I used two approaches to solve this problem, one is finite element simulations and the other is the method of reflections using the bead model.
