At the 11-month mark, we’ve reached $101 million in revenue to date, achieved our new sales target and the subsidiary preparations remain on schedule. And we still have a month left in the year to close deals and prepare for 2022.
“It’s December, our shortest month with the holiday break. Our busiest month, historically,” said John Sall.
“This season we have had a lot of important companywide initiatives: SAS preparing for an IPO, vaccination requirements, the recent retirement benefits program. This will be our last month before we start a new page as a full subsidiary of SAS.
“There is a lot of good news to report. This has been a good year, after many good years,” he observed.
“We passed $100 million for the third year in a row,” emphasized Jon Weisz. “Of course, this year we did it at the end of November and December is a big month for us.”

What to look for in the new year
Beginning Jan. 1, 2022, JMP will be a wholly owned subsidiary of SAS. This means many things for our business, including the opportunity to think carefully about how to move forward as a company.
In response to the poll taken after the JMP-wide brainstorm session, we’ll create three workstreams to address UX/UI, Recruitment & Retention and Professional Development. If you’d like to join a workstream, please review the expectations and next steps, then fill out this interest form by Friday, Dec. 10.
In 2022, you can expect:
- Janet Stone, our HR business partner, explained that all JMP employees will either be on a compensation plan or defined bonus plan tied to JMP's performance.
- Details on an allowance for those employees who work in an office building and sometimes from home, which will help us be as productive as possible in both locations.
- Additional recruiters joining the team to help us fill open positions – and reminders that we’re all empowered to recruit! (Don’t forget the $5000 referral bonus available until the end of 2021.)
- Continued progress on our company roadmap, as outlined in The JMP Report, a newsletter delivering business news on a monthly basis.

Hi Pete: For 2022 the allowance will be for office-based employees who are becoming full or partly remote. An update may be considered in the future.
No updates to the corporate mobile policy for 2022; we will still follow SAS policies.
Thanks!
@JanetStone , mentioned an allowance for monitors and other things for Cary-based employees who work from home part-time. Any chance that fully remote folks might get a budget for updating furniture?
Will there be any update to corporate mobile policy? Being currently eligible for a new phone I am trying to decide if I should put in the request now or wait?
Thanks
