That’s right, baby: One Million Dollars! (But unlike Dr. Evil, JMP actually gets the money.)
Finance Manager Tara Kupselaitis (@TaraKups) is delighted to report that JMP First systems just reached the first US$1 million in sales. And e-commerce, which went live in late August, produced more than $530K of those sales.
Tara said, "The sale that put us over $1 million was AMETEK Aegis, which purchased two JMP single entity licenses for a total of $2,400.”
Inside Sales Representative Nicole Valvano handled the deal. According to Nicole, the user who bought the licenses had extensive experience with JMP but is the only member their team that does. Initially, AMETEK Aegis plans to use JMP for engineering but anticipates rolling its use into product development. One of the two licenses will be used to train others, which should lead to an additional sale of up to six more licenses. However, the ultimate goal is to spread JMP throughout the company. “The user is a big fan of JMP and wants to showcase it to other sites. They were also very easy to work with, turning around the approval in just one day,” said Nicole.
Tara said that many customers contributed to this milestone, including Grace GmbH, which was the first customer to be entered into JMP First systems. As the fifth deal to be completed with JMP First, Grace’s upgrade of five licenses came really close to getting JMP over that first million-dollar hurdle.
Congratulations to everyone who had a part in the success of JMP First systems! Anyone want to predict when we reach $2 million?
