Chul-hee Min(Country Manager, JMP Korea) received Reliability Award in the mid-sized/small business category from the Korea Reliability Society on November 23.
The Korea Reliability Society (KORAS, Korean Reliability Society ) is an organization of professors, researchers, and industry experts. Founded in 1999, it is the largest and most influential society related to reliability in Korea.

Korea Reliability Society awards 'Reliability Award' to managers/persons of merit or institutions who have contributed greatly to improving the reliability of materials, parts, and products, thereby strengthening the competitiveness of companies and contributing to industrial and national economic development.
‘Reliability Award’ has been awarded every year since 2013, and Chul-hee Min was selected as the winner in the mid-sized/small business category in 2023.
This year, two categories were awarded: Manufacturing (LG Electronics Quality Management Center Director) and Medium/Small Business(JMP Korea).

This award recognizes JMP Korea's various activities to improve industrial quality and reliability, and is expected to make a significant contribution to the promotion and spread of JMP in the reliability field in the future.

Receiving the Reliability Award was my honor.
I was also happy for that I could be used as a material of JMP marketing.
It couldn't be happened without IkJu's idea and the great product JMP. In fact, there are some professors who have already recognized the superiority of JMP's functions for reliability areas.

The award was given two receipients who are from big companies and SMBs. Another receipient was VP of Quality Management Center at LG Electronics. So, there were many LG Electronics engineers at the award ceremony. Moreover, many attendees were from Hyundai Motors and some organizations of defense industry. KORAS has been traditionally focus on automobile industry and defense industry. As we all know, Electric Vehicle is one of the biggest trneds currently. It means another opportunity area has been coming to JMP. I believe that reliability is one of the main themes that we can contribute in the new trend.

Many years ago, I had heard about this joke.
"At a computer expo (COMDEX), Bill Gates reportedly compared the computer industry with the auto industry and stated, "If G.M. had kept up with technology like the computer industry has, we would all be driving twenty-five dollar cars that got one-thousand miles to the gallon."
