JMP Live - any AWS Instance storage upside?Hi guys,
First of all, I would like to check if my understanding is right on JMP Live.
I understand that we can publish our dashboards, charts, and data tables to JMP Live, and in actual cloud deployment, all these are pushed to an AWS Instance. So I will assume all these data are 'temporarily' stored in that AWS instance. Am I right?
If my understanding is right then what is the maximum storage for this AWS instance grants to JMP Live? (I am aware that AWS storage can scale elastically however it still comes with a price tag, so is there any cap on this 'temporary' storage since we are charging JMP Live per entity basis now without capping on total users? Or in actuality, we are helping the customer to set up and deploy JMP Live on AWS, but all charges will be between the customer and AWS?
Please correct me if any part of my information is wrong or outdated. Thanks in advance!
Regards.
Re: JMP Live - any AWS Instance storage upside?Hi Kim Hui,
this is a great question to ask on the JMP Live Sales Sheet:

Would you mind posting it there.

Re: JMP Live - any AWS Instance storage upside?JMP Live uses it's own database to store the data and everything else it needs to function. AWS is just one way to host the application and database, a company could also use their own datacenter or another cloud provider like Azure.
The maximum storage is configurable by the administrator. For our own hosting we will have a good understanding of the storage needs for a customer and will provision the amount appropriately.
For JMP hosting, we set up everything for them in our AWS account and will work with their IT to set up their preferred login method. For an on premise JMP Live, they would do everything themselves and we will provide support.
I hope that answers your questions. As Dieter said, great question for the sales sheet. It would be helpful for other people with similar questions to post there.
