Continuous improvement is a continuous effort to improve products, services or processes. The process of evaluating how well your metrics meet your customers' requirements can be difficult, cumbersome, or time-consuming, depending on the statistical tool used for the evaluation.
Imagine that you have dozens or hundreds of measurements that need to be evaluated on a regular basis. However, you also have other responsibilities and don't have hours or days to evaluate each measurement individually. The process screening platform at JMP was programmed with you in mind, and will save time and money by allowing you to quickly assess all your measurements visually.
Below, you can see the platform of process screening in JMP, which offers a simple interface where you can enter your measurements with just one click. In this example, 128 metrics are evaluated, each against their corresponding specification limits.

The results that are presented by default for each variable are ordered by the stability index, which is a measure of the stability of the process, since, to evaluate the capacity indices, the data must come from a stable process. You also have the option to sort the results by capacity indices such as Cpk or Ppk.

One of the great benefits that JMP offers you is that once you have run your analysis, you can easily add other elements to the results, giving you the flexibility you want to see the information you need. For example, the capacity index Cp can be added to the table shown above. Or you can also add other graphs to efficiently evaluate your measurements visually, like the two graphs shown below.

He goal graphic it is useful for quickly seeing how variables conform to specification limits. The triangle at the bottom represents your goal for Ppk; the slider to the right side allows you to change your Ppk target interactively. The green, yellow and red zones represent how well your variables conform to the selected Ppk. You can also get more details about each variable on the chart interactively, and you can anchor to the details as shown in the control chart for the IVP2 variable. For more information on the goal graph, please see this page .

He process performance chart It is a graph of four zones that allows visualizing the capacity of each process against stability. The legend to the right side offers you an easy and effective interpretation. And like all the graphs in JMP, this one also offers you the interactivity that allows you to obtain more details about each variable. More details on the process performance chart are available at this page .
