The EMEA Field Marketing team has launched a global LinkedIn newsletter to engage followers with the JMP brand and to spark inspiration and curiosity about the product.
“Unlike traditional LinkedIn content, which tends to be brief or simply link out to other sites, the newsletter leverages LinkedIn's capability for longer-form content, while keeping the interactivity of a social media post,” Michael Schmidt (@Michael-Schmidt) said. “Our focus is on content marketing that avoids heavy-handed CTAs or sales pitches. Instead, we aim to inspire and pique interest in what JMP offers.”
The newsletter, "Stats Matter," is bi-monthly, with the second issue just published. In this edition, Meg Hermes (@Meg_Hermes) discusses the relevance of Formula 1 in the field of data analysis and introduces our collaboration with an influencer who is a mechanical engineer and who uses JMP to analyze Formula 1 data.
The first edition featured an article by Phil Kay, originally written for an external publication, which had already achieved significant success on other channels. This piece alone led to over 700 people subscribing to the newsletter in just two months.
Schmidt says their strategy is to provide an additional, engaging communication channel for LinkedIn users who are inclined to invest time in more in-depth content. “We actively encourage our sales teams to direct prospects to the newsletter, especially those who are already comfortable on LinkedIn and are open to engaging with longer articles,” he said.
Be sure to share the Stats Matter newsletter with JMP customers and prospects. You can also subscribe to be notified when the newest content is available!
