[Presentation summary]
In this presentation, we will introduce the contents of JMP's statistical verification of the effects of safety education conducted in mechanical engineering training at technical colleges. Although safety education is carried out in various places, there are few cases where the effectiveness of education in improving worker safety awareness has been statistically verified. We believe that by statistically verifying this, we will reaffirm the importance of safety education so that workers can work safely without accidents or injuries. The content of safety education is as follows: KYT (hazard prediction training) test → classroom education → danger experience training → KYT test, questionnaire survey, and statistical analysis. We will examine whether there is a significant difference in the correct answer rate of the KYT test before and after safety education using bivariate relationships. We will also examine the influence of questionnaire results regarding individual qualities and personality on test results. Furthermore, the impressions after the safety training will be visualized using text mining.
[Presenter profile]
2016-2019 Worked at an auto parts manufacturer
2019-2023 Worked at Gunma National College of Technology
2023- Present After completing graduate school at the University of Tsukuba, I was involved in product development at an auto parts manufacturer, and when I was considering setting processing conditions and quality assurance in the manufacturing process, I came across JMP and started experimenting using a definitive screening plan. . As a mechanical engineer at Gunma National College of Technology, he was involved in student education such as machine work training and graduation research guidance. Taking advantage of my experience in the manufacturing industry, I put a lot of effort into safety education at technical colleges, and in particular, I taught students to be conscious of the importance of experiencing things for themselves, such as by giving them simulated experiences of actual dangerous work such as experiencing danger. Ta. At the University of Tsukuba, he is engaged in the production of experimental equipment using machine tools.
