[Presentation summary]
Cats, which are widely kept as pets, are known to give people positive emotions and influence their cognition. Until now, the influence of pet animals on cognition has been studied (Saito and Irito, 2022), but most of the research focused on the overt influence. Furthermore, no research has been conducted specifically on cats. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to use AMP (Affect Misattribution Produce) to examine the influence of cat images on implicit cognition. In addition, in order to examine whether the cuteness of the images used in AMP is appropriate, we will present six images of the same cat and evaluate the impressions of the images.
