Updated 12/1/2023:
As mentioned in our earlier article (see below), JMP can no longer use the Avenir Next font we've been using as our official font since 2012. Instead, we're adopting Anova, SAS' new custom typeface for all marketing materials and the web.
In addition to the new logos and letterhead we announced last month, the JMP Brand Team has made significant progress incorporating the font in other areas as well; did you notice the new font is now live on the JMP website?
Today, we announce two new official JMP corporate PowerPoint templates, available for immediate download and use. The templates are available in both light and dark versions, and offer a clean, bold look, that incorporates the Anova font.
For licensing reasons, we MAY NOT USE Avenir Next for anything after Dec. 31, 2023, so please start using the new templates immediately.
No action is needed to remove Avenir Next from your machine. During the month of December, SAS will be removing the font from all company-issued machines so you won't be able to access it. (See the SAS Knowledge Base article for more information.)
Anova is already embedded in our new PowerPoint templates so you should be able to create, edit and share the presentation internally and externally, and Anova will be included. However, if you have old PowerPoint presentations, you will need to transfer the content to the new templates. There are instructions for importing content into the new template on Slide 3 of each version of the new template.
JMP's new templates can be found in the "JMP PowerPoint templates" section of the JMP Brand Kit and can be downloaded directly here.

Original article, published 11/20/2023:
The Avenir Next font has been the official SAS (and JMP) font since 2012, promoting consistency between Marketing and product. SAS is switching to a more modern and accessible font and soon, we’ll say goodbye to Avenir Next and hello to a new custom font, Anova.
Beginning Dec. 1, 2023, we can no longer use the Avenir Next font. The Brand Team has been hard at work updating our assets in advance of that deadline. We’ve already updated some of our key assets, including updated JMP letterhead that incorporates the new font and new logos using Anova in the tagline. Both available assets are now in the JMP Brand Kit.
We're also putting the finishing touches on another cornerstone JMP Brand asset: a new PowerPoint template. The template will be available soon and incorporate the new JMP Anova font, an updated logo and a modern-looking new design that will be available in both light and dark versions. In order to use JMP's new PowerPoint template you'll need to download Anova and the template(s) onto your machine. The JMP Brand Team will send instructions and additional information on downloading both in the coming days. (BTW, no action is needed to remove Avenir Next from your machines; SAS plans on running a script as early as December 1 to remove it from all PCs and Macs.)
We're also in the process of updating additional assets in the JMP Brand Kit, and more resources will be added over time. Our goal is to have every asset in the Kit updated by early December.
