Hello everyone !
I'm coming to you after a little consultation from a work-study student with whom we work.
As part of sensory analysis results, we have a database with tasters who score samples on defined descriptors. I processed the data on my own by doing an ANOVA to which I added a corresponding adjustment, which allows me to see both the effect of the modalities, but also that of the tasters. Here is an example of what I get.

The alternate, for its part, works on R, and with a two-factor anova, does not obtain the same results at all (exactly the same database).

Is it possible that the treatment I'm using (i.e. anova + corresponding adjustment) is not completely equivalent to a factor anova?
The data I also use is raw, can it change anything if I center and reduce my data?
Thank you in advance for your help !!
Good day !
bonjour Margaux,
just looking 1-factor ANOVA results, I see that JMP is using 3 df for this ANOVA, R is using 1 df
it seems that R is using just 2 levels for the factor, I do not know R
but are Charbel and Audrey included?
