Ich schätze alles!
Hier ist, was ich erkannt habe.
1. Big Data, KI usw. sind wichtige Trends im Zusammenhang mit der Datenanalyse. Es besteht jedoch eine erhebliche Lücke zwischen den im Zusammenhang mit diesen Trends bereitgestellten Tools/Lösungen und den tatsächlichen Bedürfnissen der Wissenschaftler und Ingenieure, die bei der Anwendung der Datenanalyse im Prozess der tatsächlichen Entwicklung und Herstellung von Produkten eine führende Rolle spielen.
2. Der JMP Discovery Summit ist eine einzigartige Gelegenheit für Wissenschaftler und Ingenieure jeder Branche, praktische Datenanalysemethoden und -fälle in ihrem Arbeitsbereich kennenzulernen und mit führenden Benutzern zu interagieren.
3. Die allgemeine Freundlichkeit und Kameradschaft der JMP-Mitarbeiter vermittelt den Veranstaltungsteilnehmern ein einzigartiges Gefühl von Intimität und Komfort, das bei anderen ähnlichen Veranstaltungen nicht zu spüren ist.
Manche Wörter brauchen keine Übersetzung. „Data“ und „Python“ klingen beispielsweise auf Englisch genauso wie auf Koreanisch. Das gilt auch für „JMP“ und „Hynix“. Diese Worte wurden am 14. November beim Discovery Summit Korea häufig geäußert, wo sich mehr als 200 JMP-Enthusiasten – viele davon vom Halbleiterriesen SK Hynix – im Herzen Seouls trafen.

Die Spannung lag in der Luft beim ersten persönlichen Discovery Summit Korea. JMP Korea Country Manager ChulHee Min gab zu, dass er etwas nervös in die Veranstaltung gegangen sei, weil es die allererste war persönlicher Discovery Summit in Korea – und es waren mehr als 200 Personen angemeldet! Seine Hoffnung war, dass „die Atmosphäre möglichst ähnlich zu den vergangenen Discovery Summits aus anderen Ländern sein würde.“
ChulHee und JMP User Enablement Director Jeff Perkinson gaben gemeinsam den Ton für den Tag an. ChulHee fragte Jeff, welche vier Worte die JMP-Community am besten beschreiben. Die Antwort war natürlich: „Teilen, fragen, lernen, verbinden.“ Und dazu ermutigten sie die Teilnehmer auf der Veranstaltung, in der JMP-Community und darüber hinaus.
Ein ähnliches Thema zog sich durch Plenarvorträge und Breakouts, von JMP präsentierte Sitzungen und benutzergesteuerte Inhalte. Daweoong Ahn, Vizepräsident von SK Hynix, sprach über die Bedeutung der Nutzung von Daten und des Aufbaus einer Analysekultur.
Aurora Tiffany-Davis von JMP brachte diese Idee mit der Frage auf den Punkt: „Sind meine Erkenntnisse wertvoll, wenn ich sie nicht mit anderen teilen kann?“
Durch Simultanübersetzungen vom Englischen ins Koreanische stellten Mitglieder von JMP R&D bohrende Fragen und tauschten Erkenntnisse mit JMP-Benutzern aus ganz Korea aus. Und wie bei allen Discovery Summits standen bei den Breakout-Sitzungen die Best Practices der Benutzer im Mittelpunkt.
Als Ergebnis der Veranstaltung sagte ChulHee, dass es zahlreiche Kunden gibt, die er in den Bereichen Hightech, Bio/Pharma und Chemie ausbauen möchte.
Marketingmanager IkJu Shin teilte einige der Gefühle mit, die er im Laufe des Tages gehört hatte ...
1) Ich wusste nicht, dass es so viele JMP-Benutzer gibt. Ich fühle mich stark.
2) Schön, Sie persönlich kennenzulernen.
3) Bitte stellen Sie diese Person vor (Referenten, andere Teilnehmer).
4) Bitte führen Sie solche Veranstaltungen öfter durch.
5) Bitte kommen Sie zu uns ins Unternehmen und nehmen Sie an einem Seminar teil.
„Da es sich um die erste Präsenzveranstaltung handelte, war es sehr schwierig, das Ziel abzuschätzen und festzulegen oder zu entscheiden, wie viele Personen man einladen und wie viele man in Rechnung stellen sollte“, sagte JMP-Vermarkter SangHyun Kim. Das ursprüngliche Ziel seien 150 strategische Kunden gewesen, sagte er, aber die Veranstaltung sprach sich herum und die Anmeldezahlen wuchsen weiter. SangHyun sagte, dies sei ihr erstes Discovery-Experiment gewesen. „Wir werden weiterhin versuchen, den optimalen Kompromiss zwischen Kosten und Benutzerzufriedenheit zu finden.“
IkJu sagte, dass die Teilnehmer angereist seien Jeju Island, Busan und Sacheon an der Südküste, Hunderte Kilometer entfernt.Die enthusiastische Beteiligung zeigte eine große Nachfrage nach Präsenzunterricht auf Koreanisch, was bedeutet, dass die Discovery im November 2023 wahrscheinlich die erste von vielen sein wird.
