Note: The following applies only to U.S. commercial customers. It does not apply to U.S. EIS government customers.
U.S. contracts under $10K (excluding any DSP and CRO contracts)
These legacy contracts will use JMP Store to renew. Currently, the JMP Store only accepts credit cards, but other payment options will be coming soon. Only JMP is available via the JMP Store now, but JMP Pro and JMP Clinical will be available in March.
U.S. contracts over $10K
- Case A (customer in the process of moving to a SAS UTOF):
If any U.S. customers have a legacy SAS contract and intend to sign a SAS UTOF, they must do so by Nov 22, 2023. If the SAS UTOF has not been executed by Nov. 22, 2023, customers will renew on their existing SAS contract and will then be moved to a JMP UTOF at the next renewal date in 2024. There will be no exceptions offered to this deadline.
- Case B (customer has a SAS UTOF):
If a SAS UTOF has been fully executed by Nov. 22, 2023, the contract will be assigned to JMP as of the next renewal date via assignment notice to the customer. As we committed to those customers, no new paperwork will need to be signed for 2024 renewals and an invoice will be sent on the date of the contract assignment (which is the end of the SAS contract period). In other words, once the contract has been assigned, sales reps won’t need to do anything else unless you are notified differently.
For contracts over $10K that do not have fully executed SAS UTOF, the following steps will be needed for the customer to renew their software:
- Business Operations will email relevant sales managers with the list of customers who have received contract transition notices.
- Soon after, Business Operations will blind copy the sales managers on the pre-renewal quotes. The quotes will also include the approved vendor forms that customers need to set up JMP as a vendor.
- Business Operations will send the JMP UTOF to the customer’s primary rep. The sales rep will need to send the JMP UTOF to the customer. Sales reps will then be notified by DocuSign that the JMP UTOF has been signed.
- Soon after, the relevant sales managers will receive an email from Finance with the list of customers who have received an invoice. Banking and payment information will be on the invoice.
