Benutzerautorisierung in JMP 18JMP-Lizenzen
JMP wird auf Namensbasis lizenziert. Das heißt, unsere Verträge gestatten benannten Personen die Nutzung von JMP. Wir lizenzieren JMP nicht für die Verwendung auf einem einzelnen Computer, was es jedem mit Zugriff auf diesen Computer ermöglichen würde, JMP zu verwenden.
Bis JMP 18 unterstützten unsere Softwarelizenzierungssysteme diese Unterscheidung nicht. Durch die Verwendung von Lizenzdateien (JMP.PER/SID) oder Seriennummern wurde sichergestellt, dass JMP zumindest lizenziert ist, die Nutzung wurde jedoch nicht ausschließlich auf autorisierte Benutzer beschränkt.
Da wir außerdem mehrere Softwarelizenzierungsmethoden (Lizenzdateien/Seriennummern) hatten, hatten wir für jede Methode unterschiedliche ausführbare Images. Diese Situation führte zu erheblicher Verwirrung, wenn ein Benutzer erwartete, eine .PER-Datei zu verwenden und die Aktivierungsversion installiert hatte.
Ab JMP 18 verfügen wir über ein Benutzerautorisierungsschema, das unsere vertragliche Lizenz unterstützt und ein ausführbares Image pro Produkt bereitstellt, das unabhängig von der Geschäftstransaktion verwendet werden kann, die einem Benutzer Zugriff auf JMP gewährt hat. Unabhängig davon, ob es sich um eine Jahreslizenz, ein Abonnement/Store, eine Testversion oder eine Studentenlizenz handelt, verfügen alle über denselben Mechanismus zur Autorisierung von Benutzern, was zu einem einheitlichen Erlebnis für alle Benutzer führt.
Wenn JMP 18 gestartet wird, werden Benutzer aufgefordert, sich mit ihrer My JMP-ID anzumelden. Mein JMP prüft, ob dieser Benutzer berechtigt ist, JMP zu verwenden, wie hoch das Ablaufdatum ist, und startet dann.

Wir stellen JMP 18 automatisch allen Administratoren zur Verfügung. Bestehende Kunden müssen JMP 18 nicht extra anfordern.
Sobald es für jede Kundengruppe (Legacy, CPQ, Store usw.) verfügbar ist, senden wir jeder Gruppe eine Benachrichtigung, um sie über den Vorgang zum Autorisieren von Benutzern und Herunterladen der Installationsprogramme zu informieren.

- Der Administrator gibt die E-Mail-Adressen der Benutzer ein, die er autorisieren möchte. Jeder Benutzer erhält eine E-Mail, in der er darüber informiert wird, dass er nun zur Verwendung von JMP 18 berechtigt ist. Außerdem wird er zu „Mein JMP“ weitergeleitet, wenn er es benötigt oder herunterladen möchte.
- Nein, wir bieten dem Administrator derzeit keine Berichte zur Nutzung von JMP durch seine autorisierten Benutzer an.
- Ja. Sie können sehen, wer für jedes Konto/jeden Vertrag zur Nutzung von JMP autorisiert ist.

1. Ja, Sie können sehen, wer für jedes Konto/jeden Vertrag zur Nutzung von JMP autorisiert ist.

3. Eine Person, die nicht zur Nutzung von JMP autorisiert wurde, darf JMP nicht verwenden. Wenn ein Administrator keine Berechtigungen mehr zur Verfügung hat, kann er keine weiteren Benutzer autorisieren. Der Administrator ist dafür verantwortlich, Benutzern die Autorisierung zu entziehen und neue Benutzer zu autorisieren.

1. Das ist richtig. Jeder JMP-Benutzer muss von einem Administrator autorisiert werden, der ihn autorisiert, indem er die E-Mail-Adressen in eine Liste auf My JMP einträgt.
2. Der Benutzer installiert JMP einfach auf dem neuen Computer und startet es. Er wird aufgefordert, die Autorisierung über My JMP vorzunehmen. Das ist ganz einfach.

Wie funktioniert die Verteilung und Installation von JMP 18 in diesem Szenario aus Sicht eines Lizenzadministrators und eines Benutzers?
Die zweite Frage betrifft eine kombinierte Cloud- und Desktop-Bereitstellung. Die Desktop-Bereitstellung erfolgt auf eine der oben genannten Arten. Wie erfolgt die Cloud-Bereitstellung? Macht es einen Unterschied, wenn der Kunde sich dafür entscheidet, seinen Benutzern sowohl eine Cloud- als auch eine Desktop-Installation bereitzustellen? Wie funktioniert dies aus Sicht des Lizenzadministrators und des Benutzers?

Gilt dies auch für universitätsweite Lizenzen? Wenn ja, welchen Prozess müssen unsere Kunden befolgen, um anzugeben, welche E-Mail-Domänen vorab validiert werden müssen?
