We have a user/JMP Advocate at one of our customers that would like to upgrade to Pro, but he is meeting resistance from his manager. The customer organization has a "data analytics" group that uses Python, but my advocate isn't a part of that group. So when my advocate wants to get some higher-end analysis done, he has to set up a meeting with the DA group, convince them that his project is worthy, then wait in line until they get to his project.
His manager thinks this situation is fine, and argues "What does JMP Pro give me that the DA folks can't already do in Python?"
I've got a lot of ideas of my own, but thought I'd open this to the SE group. Hoping this eventually results in a nice list for future SE's to refer to.
(As an aside, the manager is very open to exploring JMP Live at this company. Fine with $50K, but resisting $15K for 2 licenses. Huh?)
Thanks for the inputs!
