GDPR Data Erasure Requests

Per Shannon Carr/SAS CEC, forward any GDPR data erasure requests via email to privacyrights@sas.com. This will kick off the DPR process and all the normal steps will be completed with no need to create a Sirius track. Ultimately, Antoine Smith will be notified and will perform the necessary data cleanup tasks in Salesforce.

18DEC2025 update

If someone wants their data removed from our systems, the following will also be effected as they will no longer receive a verification code:

• Any software authorization
• Trial
• Student Edition
• Training
• Community

Hi @Wendy_Murphrey , when customers ask us to delete their suscriptions (opt-in, Newswire), they need to manage their emails though Hubspot (manage notifications from an email sent by us).

"When we get erasure request they typically go to the SAS Privacy Office and subsequently request are sent to all privacy champions to erase the data.  For JMP, we have an opt out button that is clicked on the lead or contact record as well the person’s name, company and address are deleted.   That is then synced with HubSpot and HubSpot blocks any emails that go out to that email address. "
