Re: Feedback needed by Oct. 27: Mastering 2024 Topics/PresentersThanks @gail_massari - I didn't see Ryan Cooper's name on the list. You can also add him to assist with QA.
Re: Feedback needed by Oct. 27: Mastering 2024 Topics/Presenters@nick_shelton thanks for catching that. @ryan_cooper gave his first session a few weeks ago andit just fell off my list. I scheduled it again now for Nov. 1 and also, because of his interest in workflow builder, put Ryan on to assist Mike 3/22 on Workflow Builder session. @scwise , I took you off Q&A on 3/22, but as always, you are welcome to join as panelist to help New spreadsheet attached.
Re: Feedback needed by Oct. 27: Mastering 2024 Topics/Presenters@gail_massari ,
The JMP Clinical sessions probably will need to change in version number and maybe content. @SamGardner and I will need to discuss.
Maybe there is an opportunity to take something like what @Valerie_Nedbal has done for blog posts and turn them into sessions as well.
Re: Feedback needed by Oct. 27: Mastering 2024 Topics/PresentersGene Expression ones.
As for JMP Clinical, we may want to switch out the first one and do a what's new in JMP C 18 and maybe redo the second one as JMP C 18 instead of JMP C 17. Also, we might have enough now to do a 3rd one about data integrity and RBM, but I need to confirm with Sam, he maybe the man with the Plan (for the golden An in the Tan Van.)
Re: Feedback needed by Oct. 27: Mastering 2024 Topics/Presenters@gail_massari could you create a Confluence page with the table so we can all collaborate on that. Agree with Chris, we need update the topics for JMP Clinical.
Re: Feedback needed by Oct. 27: Mastering 2024 Topics/Presenters@Chris_Kirchberg just let me know. You mean her @Valerie_Nedbal older bioassay blogs or the new ones on Gene Expression? I've been following and tweeting them.
Are you suggesting not doing JMP CLinical, but doing one or two sessions (Part 1 and Part 2)?
Getting Gene Activity, Regulation and Interaction Information from Gene Expression Data
If so, are the dates ok? I'd love Valerie to present, but 7/19 and 7/26 are close to vacation time in France and Germany. I can juggle to May if you want.
And does that mean nothing on JMP Clinical?
Re: Feedback needed by Oct. 27: Mastering 2024 Topics/PresentersOk @SamGardner and @Chris_Kirchberg - Here is the Confluence discussion: https://jmpdiscovery.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/JMPPRODMGMT/pages/438599701/JMP+Clinical+Mastering+Sessions+for+2024
Re: Feedback needed by Oct. 27: Mastering 2024 Topics/Presenters@gail_massari as for the Genomics ones, I would coordinate with her to see if she is willing and what dates would work best.
Re: Feedback needed by Oct. 27: Mastering 2024 Topics/PresentersThanks @gail_massari
Re: Feedback needed by Oct. 27: Mastering 2024 Topics/PresentersI feel that topics that will be impacted by the JMP 18 release should be put later in the year. The Workflow Builder, for instance. We currently have it for March 22nd which may muddy the waters around messaging for the launch and new capabilities.
Moving the impacted topics to later in the year will also give the presenters time to incorporate or adjust to the changes in 18.
Re: Feedback needed by Oct. 27: Mastering 2024 Topics/PresentersGail-
I would like to see the changes in 18 for reliability before I said I wanted to delay giving the talk. Let me get with Caleb and I will let you know.
thanks,
Charlie
Re: Feedback needed by Oct. 27: Mastering 2024 Topics/Presenters@MikeD_Anderson thank you for that thought. JMP Clinical is already likely changing (topics and date). Which if these do you and @HydeMiller think should be delayed because the changes in JMP 18 are huge enough that they will mean major redo of what was done last year? I have noted those I think have major changes, and I will appreciate your added inputs. @charlie_whitman , we are doing a Developer Tutorial in March on Constant Stress Alt. Will you be incorporating that into your Deeper Dive...?

@chuck_boiler @ @MaryLoveless and @nick_shelton , having two SEs on each 2023 session (one for demo, one to hepfor Q&A) was appreciatd by customers. It also let us get text for Q&A to put with videos. Thanks, all for expending the extra time and effort and for often coordinating with the presenter in advance.
I attached a proposed 2024 US schedule. I will start scheduling Nov. 1 unless I hear a topic or date doesn't work for you. So, let me know here if you DO NOT WANT TO (OR CANNOT) PRESENT or ASSIST with a topic next to your name. First name is presenter; second name is Q&A panelist helping me.
If you see any topics you don't think are important or others you want added, let me know.
I am also scheduling Thursday March and April 2024DEVELOPER TUTORIALS on new platforms and big changes where advanced users will have development questions. More on this later.
By the way, I am also scheduling Developer Tutorials for March and April, Thursdays 11 am - noon or 12:30 ET so they might draw UK/EU adience.. I will add them to the table as we progress. A reminder:
The Developer Tutorial audience is JMP users who know enough to want to understand how and why we implemented new capabilities and who are interested with speaking with Developer/Statisticians about why those methods may be useful in the commercial setting. The Developers present using PPT and JMP to describe relevant algorithms, etc. and answer questions periodically during the session. The format is more interactive than Mastering (which is 30 min. uninterrupted demo followed by Q&A).
Re: Feedback needed by Oct. 27: Mastering 2024 Topics/PresentersThanks Gail. If we could add John Cunningham who will join us in the West starting 01 DEC, 2023, that would be great. Thanks. Chuck
Re: Feedback needed by Oct. 27: Mastering 2024 Topics/PresentersSure. Is this John Cunningham from Driscoll? I remember meeting him and interviewing him for one of my first podcasts. I am thinking maybe having him on Q&A for Tips and Tricksin March, Building Dashboards in June, and perhaps presenting Saving and Sharing Results in Oct. 2024. Will talk to him in Jan.
Re: Feedback needed by Oct. 27: Mastering 2024 Topics/PresentersOf course. And Caleb is doing Developer Tutorial on this topic 4/18. So, I left you on for the Mastering 5/17 but will not post it until around March 2024.
