Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month takes place every year from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15 to celebrate and pay tribute to the remarkable contributions, diverse cultures, and extensive histories of Hispanic and Latino Americans to the United States.
“Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month is an opportunity to celebrate and recognize the culture and contributions of Hispanics and Latinos,” HR Director Paul Mastropolo said. “I am the proud father of two adopted Hispanic children, so this month is very special to my family. I offer my appreciation to JMP Staff of Hispanic and Latin American roots for their contributions to the business. I encourage everyone to find a personal way to celebrate this month such as attending a cultural festival or supporting a Hispanic or Latin American restaurant in your community.”
The SAS International Connection recognizes Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month as a time to foster understanding and appreciation among all communities through festivals, art exhibitions, community gatherings, and educational events to promote cultural exchange and dialogue.
They have many events planned throughout the month to celebrate. Here are a few upcoming that you can still take part in!
