excel import + columns with drop-down menus

Good morning,

I have an Excel file that I want to import with JMP.

there are columns with a choice of value for the cell

Jmp does not import any value (empty column in Jmp).

is there a solution?

the solution I found:

in excel: the column did not have a format specified.

I set the column in text format and >Jmp then imports the values.
