We are looking to replace an old add-in we have been using for several years and are intrigued at the capabilities in the Design Explorer built in to Custom Design.
We would like to make a couple feature requests which we think are simple. What does JMP think of these?
1. Ability to look at values other than the Average Prediction Variance. We have a tradition of reading off the 90% Prediction Variance quantile from the FDS plot, to certify that across most of the design space the prediction variance can be controlled to whatever value that is. A simple input box allowing us to move from the 50% used in Average (Median?) Prediction Variance would be fine, and our thinking is that is a fairly simple thing to read off the FDS simulation that the Custom Designer already builds.
2. When comparing number of runs (or number of center points, or number of replicates, etc.) we have sometimes made some small graphs to compare a performance metric (prediction variance, optimality, etc.) against the number of runs or other dynamic setting being varied in the design explorer. Is it possible to put a small visual out to the side? We use today a fairly small graph, it does not need to dominate the table.
