Kristen Slappey joins JMP as a Software Development Manager

Kristen Slappey joins JMP from Optum, the Health IT service division of the UnitedHealth Group. She’s a software engineer turned engineering manager who is passionate about finding creative, scalable, and reliable solutions to technical problems. Her software experience includes many programming languages such as Javascript, 
Java and Python and she’s helped see through several migrations of on-prem systems to the public cloud as well as new product implementations at her previous company.
Fun fact, she used JMP and JMP Live applications as part of her MBA program at NC State. She’s joined JMP to start work on the JMP App Store concept. Kristen is located in Raleigh, NC and when she’s not working, you can find her running on the Raleigh/Cary greenways as she’s training for her 8th marathon.
