In this series, we explore how to use JMP software to perform statistical analyzes in the field of animal health and nutrition. Designed for researchers, scientists, and industry professionals, this series will cover fundamental and advanced techniques to help you gain valuable information and make informed decisions.
By completing this webinar series, you will be equipped with knowledge and skills to use JMP in animal health and nutrition data analysis. You will be able to perform more sophisticated statistical analysis, obtain more solid conclusions and make informed decisions to improve animal health and well-being. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced JMP user, this series will provide you with valuable tools to advance your work and fine-tune better models in your field of study.
Session #1: Statistical summary, hypothesis testing and model building
In the first part, you will learn how to summarize data statistically, perform 1- and 2-sample t tests, perform analysis of variance (ANOVA), and use multiple linear regression. These tools will allow you to explore relationships, compare groups, and evaluate the significance of differences observed in your data.

Session #2: Survival analysis
The second part will focus on the analysis of survival times between groups. You will learn how to estimate and compare survival times using parametric and nonparametric techniques, and how to consider covariates to obtain more accurate conclusions. This analysis is especially relevant in the field of animal health and nutrition, where survival is a critical factor of consideration.
Session #3: Mixed models
In the third part, we will explore mixed models to account for random effects and to analyze longitudinal data and repeated measurements. These techniques will allow you to address variability within and between subjects, and better understand how data changes over time. You will also learn about the options available in JMP and JMP Pro to tune these models and select the appropriate covariance structure.
