Administration of spaces by someone with a Space Admin role is currently only at the User Permission Level.
The Space admin can add an existing group, but cannot create a group.
Last week I was at Vertex, at two different sites, one in Rhode Island and one in Main. The JMP Live admin is one person int the IT group at the site in Main. At both sites there are several Space Admins, each would like to create groups of people to add to spaces. The IT person is very much not interested in creating and maintaining groups for all the Space Admins.
Currently the Space Admin can only administer individual users. In some cases this may include 20-30 people. Each space has to be individually configured, and several spaces include identical sets of users. This puts a heavy/tedius burden on the space admin to curate users for each space.
Here's the ask:
1. Allow Space Admins to create Groups
2. Allow Spaces to be copied/duplicated along with their user permissions, but not the space content.
3. Allow Groups to be created from username lists in spaces.
Thank you for your consideration.
