Allison Liang is a Localization Project Manager with an MA in Chinese Linguistics from UMass Amherst. She has been in the localization field for the past 9 years and finds the art of translation fascinating. Prior to joining JMP, she worked as a localization specialist in the mental health sector.
Beyond the realm of localization, Allison is a passionate individual who finds joy in a variety of hobbies. A culinary enthusiast at heart, she takes pleasure in experimenting with flavors and techniques to create delectable dishes. Before traveling to new places, she researches must-eat places to satisfy her love for savoring exceptional cuisine.
She also enjoys playing online games with friends and relatives, transcending geographical distances to share moments of laughter and competition.

I love the way you put it - "the art of translation" - because yes, this really is an interdisciplinary process that requires an appreciation of science and art. And welcome to a fellow five-college graduate! I took an epidemiology class at UMass Amherst and went to more than a few hockey games during my undergraduate days at Mount Holyoke. (Which feels longer ago than ever since I just sent my daughter off to college in the mountains - of NC though, not the Pioneer Valley!)
