In the OVR, we have several customers that are transitioning from Minitab to JMP and a number of prospects that are considering making the change from Minitab to JMP. During discovery calls with prospects that use Minitab, we inevitably get the question about what is the equivalent "Six Pack" capability graphs in JMP (this six-pack analysis is not exclusive to Minitab; Excel QI Macros and PQ System SQC Pack are two other software packages that highlight this as a core capability).
During a demo, I will show how all the information is available, but in order to reproduce all the graphs and gather all the information, you sometimes need to navigate several platforms or multiple layers of red triangles. To some new-to-JMP prospects, this can look overly complicated since they may be accustomed to clicking a single button.
This prompted me to build an add-in to compile a quick six-graph summary with equivalent information.
The goal for this add-in is to show a familiar output for those using other software packages, but then sneak in all the awesome things JMP does to make the analysis more efficient: interactivity between graphs, finding outliers in the data table, quickly coloring/highlighting data points, exporting reports, etc.
I also tried to optimize the report for interactive HTML. All the graphs should be interactive and any additional tabs should also be interactive.
I posted the add-in in the community ( Capability Explorer add-in * ) and would love to get additional feedback from the SE team and customers. Please take a look and let me know what you think. Also let me know if you find any major issues.** I only tested it in v17 (Windows and Mac).
Hopefully this will help teams provide another option to show JMP advantages when getting in front of prospects who are accustomed to other software and serve as a gateway to demonstrating the the power and flexibility of JMP.

* If you are fluent in JSL, don't take too deep a look at the script... There are some places that are pieced together with scotch tape and chewing gum. However, if you do take a look at the script and find something that would improve it, I would love to learn!
** One recently discovered issue is that older tables code Spec Limits differently than newer tables, so if you have a Spec Limit column property and the add-in says you don't have a spec limit, just delete the column property and add a new one. I will look into fixing this.
