The mixture of mixtures is very common for chemical companies producing paints and resins. The specific constraint is less common but illustrate how to manage convergence issue.

Thank you Emmanuel for sharing this training. It's a great reminder of what you taught me some time ago, when I was faced with the same convergence issue.

For the record, in the last 8 months, I've had to support 2 customers with such needs:

Mader (which also deals in resins, hardeners and toughener. The game can become more complicated when you have the constraint "2 resins out of 6". Thanks Phil for the support!)
Roquette (for the fixed stoichiometric aspect)

Hello Stéphane, indeed I've had to deal with a lot of "2 out of 6" requests. Covariates are ideal for managing this, I may talk about this in another post.
