This year, Discovery Summit Americas attendees can choose to attend the online Early User Edition of Discovery Summit or travel to Indian Wells for the in-person event (or do both!). One thing is guaranteed during these events – attendees will have access to a plethora of opportunities to learn from and to help expand their networks.
Early User Edition
A perfect precursor to the in-person event for new JMP users who want to hit the ground running on their data-discovery journey.
- Getting Started with JMP: There’s so much that JMP can do, but you’ve got to start somewhere! This interactive session is for data explorers who are new to JMP software and for experienced users who want a quick refresher.
- Meet the Experts from R&D: Hear from the experts on such topics as data access, statistics and modeling, JMP Live, scripting and automation, DOE, and more.
- Simulive paper presentations: View pre-recorded presentations and have the opportunity to ask the presenter questions in the chat or live afterward.
In-person event
Geared toward JMP beginners and more experienced users, the in-person event is an excellent place to sharpen skills, share insights, and learn from thought leaders.
- Workshops: Led by JMP Education and offered in two tracks, these 70-minute workshops are a rare opportunity to go in-depth on specific topics with the experts themselves. Workshops are available for new JMP users, users interested in scripting, and users interested in advanced analytics.
- Paper presentations: Hear from JMP users in 30-minute presentations and demos to learn how they use JMP software in their organizations.
- JMP Lab: Attendees can test features, provide critical user feedback, and experience new innovations first-hand at JMP Lab. This is a chance for them to directly influence the development of JMP, helping to enhance functionality, its ease of use, and the overall user experience.
- JMP Product Roadmap: New to Discovery Summit Americas this year, JMP product managers and developers share what you can do now in JMP, what’s coming in JMP 18, and what’s planned for the future. Topics include DOE and reliability, statistics and modeling, quality and process engineering, and ways to save and share results.
- Discovery Expo: Meet and network with JMP R&D experts – the brains behind the software. Attendees also have the chance to talk to User Enablement and meet with JMP Education and are encouraged to bring questions about training options, course materials, and other Learn JMP resources.
- Poster presentations: Witness the methodology behind a class assignment, a research project, or a business application.
- Networking dinners: Mingle with like-minded peers who are just as passionate about data discovery as you are.
In addition to these opportunities, we have a brilliant group of keynote speakers that will be announced in the coming weeks, so keep an eye out for more information. In the meantime, be sure to check out the agenda for a complete guide to everything that’s happening, and invite any and all JMP users and prospects!
