What inspired this Wish List Request?
Using the WFB. Having had to create and maintain code for customers (internal and external) in the past.
Please describe the new or improved feature or solution you would like to see.
Workflows evolve. Sometimes you need to add one or more steps to the middle of a workflow. Currently, the only way this is possible is to add them to the end individually and move them. This is unwieldy and prone to error for workflows with a large number of steps.
What would the value be to you and/or other users if this new feature is provided?
It would make the use and adoption of WFB easier and quicker.
Is this an external customer request?
No.
Is there a competitive software package that has this feature or solution that we should be aware of?
No.
Will this impact a renewal, expansion, or adoption at a customer, and does this put an account at risk if we do not address this?
I could imagine that this may slow the adoption of WFB, but it is too early to tell.
Hello @DonMcCormack, this is currently available. You can find this by right-clicking on a step in a workflow, and click "Set Next Step to Execute". When you record, the new steps will be placed just before the step you right-clicked on. Let me know if you have any questions!

I wouldn't have figured that out from the menu. Maybe "Start Recording Here" would be more descriptive? Any way to insert a blank step in the Workflow rather than as a Custom Action within a step? The two approaches would have identical functionality, but the later is less obscured.

I am going to keep this wish marked as "Delivered" since this is in the product, but I have created a new Jira issue for us to look into making it easier for users to understand what this feature does.
