SMOTE, Penalized Quantile Regression and Expectile Regression - Need HelpDear Team,
A professor is exploring JMP to replace R for ANOVA and Regression course in stats department.
The professor is looking for SMOTE, Penalized Quantile Regression ( we do have Penalized as part of regularization, but regularization for Quantile is what the professor is looking for)and as well as Expectile regression.
IS there a way in JMP to approach all these
Appreciate your inputs and thoughts around these three
Thanks
Murali
Re: SMOTE, Penalized Quantile Regression and Expectile Regression - Need HelpFor SMOTE, you might want to take a look at this talk and add-in:

Quantile Regression is available via Gen Reg

Re: SMOTE, Penalized Quantile Regression and Expectile Regression - Need Helpthanks @mia_stephens
I will suggest the add-in for SMOTE.
I suggested quantile for him a week back, but the professor is looking for Penalized Quantile Regression.
Any advice on penalized quantile and Expectile? (In R, its rqPen and expectreg)
Thanks

Re: SMOTE, Penalized Quantile Regression and Expectile Regression - Need HelpYou're right @Muralidhara , penalized methods for quantile regression are not yet available in GenReg.
Curious if we're hearing other requests for penalized quantile and expectile regression. Anyone else?
Might be good to get these on the internal wish list to help with evaluation and prioritization as we start planning for the JMP 19 development cycle.
Re: SMOTE, Penalized Quantile Regression and Expectile Regression - Need HelpThank you @mia_stephens . I have added these two the internal wish list.
