Survey Data GraphicsHi all! I am currently trying to create a graph to show survey data done through microsoft forms. I have the data in JMP, but want to make a similar graphic to the one from microsoft (shown below) to put into JMP Live. Does anybody have any ideas on how to replicate this? I have attached the JMP data table in this post as well.

Re: Survey Data GraphicsCheck out the Categorical platform.
What you have are four columns of Related->Aligned responses.

The resulting analysis in JMP looks like this:

However, I had to do a few things to the column properties of the four columns in question:
1) Remove the Value Order property
2) Recode the existing responses to 1 to 5 (Strongly agree to Strongly disagree) - note that I set the spurious value of "Please explain..." to missing
3) Add a Value Label to get back to Strong agree to Strongly disagree
4) Add a Value Colors property to get the green to red diverging scale
Re: Survey Data GraphicsHi Kaylee,
I'm admittedly not a big fan of these "push/pull" type graphs, but I'd definitely recommend against them when there is a "no-opinion" response. It shifts the x-axis for each question in a non-constant way and makes the graph more difficult to interpret than any of a number of other graphs that could be used to convey the information. Reading the x-axis directly as it stands relies on the assumption (suspect at best, in my opinion) that half of the "no opinion" responses reflect negative sentiment, while half reflect positive sentiment.
A standard bar chart (stacked or side by side, depending on the questions the graph is designed to easily answer; Jeff supplied a stacked graph using the Categorical platform) with an anchored 0 point, will be easier for viewers to digest, and will lead to more accurate interpretation of the data.
Re: Survey Data GraphicsJeff, thank you so much for your help with this. I definitely think that this gets the point across in a better way than just the microsoft forms output. I really appreciate you taking the time to explain this!
Re: Survey Data GraphicsBrady, thank you for your response to this! I agree that this way will be better than the microsoft forms output and will probably use something closer to the jmp output above.
