JMP Education has released two more on-demand courses, for free, in the JMP User Community: Statistical Decisions with ANOVA and Regression and Custom Design of Experiments.
The Statistical Decisions with ANOVA and Regression course teaches you how to use analysis of variance and regression methods to analyze data with a single continuous response variable and introduces statistical model building.
Custom Design of Experiments focuses on the core principles of designing an experiment, enabling you to understand and apply those principles to achieve an optimal design using the Custom Design platform in JMP.
In addition, there is a new location in the JMP User Community for all the free on-demand course content we offer, which now includes:
The JMP Education (jmp.com/training) homepage has also been updated to link to these courses directly.
Recommended Learning Paths
Users new to JMP should start with Getting Started with JMP, and then navigate to other topics that interest them.
For example, a good path for an experimental engineer or someone conducting experiments in a lab would be:
- Take Getting Started with JMP first.
- Next, try a few modules from Statistical Thinking and Problem Solving (STIPS): Exploratory Data Analysis, Decision Making with Data, Correlation and Regression, and Design of Experiments.
- Then, take the full Statistical Decisions with ANOVA and Regression course to deepen understanding of the statistical concepts and terminology.
- And then take the full Custom Design of Experiments course to expand from the basics of DOE covered in STIPS.
For a quality control engineer, the path might be:
- Take Getting Started with JMP first.
- Next, try a few modules from Statistical Thinking and Problem Solving (STIPS): Exploratory Data Analysis and Quality Methods.
- Then take the full Statistical Process Control course to deepen your knowledge of SPC.
We hope you will use these materials to deepen the JMP footprint in customer organizations and help support JMP users in their learning needs. Share freely! And if certain messaging works well for you, let us know so we can share with others!
