The European User Enablement event team has been busy this summer. Most recently, Senior Events Project Manager Maria Astals Serés and Events Project Manager Christopher Sanger coordinated three users group meetings in three different countries.
In Finland, Murata Electronics in Vantaa hosted the event, which drew 41 attendees. These customers, representing a variety of industries, included ASM, Baseband, Biomensio Oy, Canatu Oy, GOVS, IFF, IQM, Quantum Computers, Vaisala, Okmetic Oy, Kupio Center for Gene and Cell Therapy, University of Turku, Radiometer, and Orion. SE Christian Bille was the presenter, while AE Marija Lind and ISR Rob Williams were on hand to have those all-important face-to-face conversations. According to Maria, “The event had some tangible results, ranging from an initial sales conversation with Okmetic to six closed deals.”
The meeting at Analog Devices in Limerick, Ireland, was just as successful. SEs Phil Kay, Valérie Nedbal, and Stuart Little presented to 39 attendees from Dairygold, Johnson and Johnson, Pfizer, University of Limerick, Tonisity, Baker Hughes, Regeneron, Seagate, MACOM, Alkermes Pharma, European Refreshments UC, Intel Corporation, Abbott Diabetes Care, and ADI.
Meanwhile, 42 attendees gathered at Siemens in Marburg, Germany. Peers from Autoliv, Biotronik, Bundesdruckerei, CSL Behring, DELO Industrie Klebstoffe, EEMCO, Huber & Suhner, Lohman, Mahle Filtersysteme, Nexelis, Procter & Gamble, Robert Bosch, Schott, Siltronic, Symrise, UCB Biosiences, Von Ardenne Anlagenechnik gathered to hear from SEs Martin Demel and Lisa Daroque. Maria says, “We were happy to have some new participants and good customer engagements. We expect to have additional JMP Inspire events as a result of this users group meeting, as well as follow-up conversations about JMP Live.”
The European User Enablement events team is always looking for ideas for presenters and topics. Please contact either Maria or Christopher if you have a suggestion. And be sure to check out upcoming events in Europe.
