Cosa ha ispirato questa richiesta di lista dei desideri?

Quando un utente desidera aggiungere nuove righe a una tabella dati o quando desidera ordinare la tabella dati, c'è il rischio che ciò non sia possibile in Jmp a causa dei report aperti.
Come aggiornare la tabella dopo l'ordinamento?
Caso peggiore: lo script JSL si interrompe semplicemente con un messaggio di errore che dice all'utente:

Spesso il report non presenta problemi con l'ordinamento o le righe, necessita solo di un aggiornamento.

Qual è il miglioramento che vorresti vedere?

Per favore, risolvi il problema.

Approcci diversi:

1. Tutti gli utenti possono aggiornare la tabella (aggiungere righe, ordinare la tabella) e attivare l'aggiornamento dei report.
2. If there are reports which actually have an issue with the changes in the data table, ask the user if it's OK to close them.
   For JSL, don't ask the user, provide an option:
   

   sort(..., close reports with issues());

3. Does an option like
   

   sort( ..., ignoreEffectsOnReports())

   make sense?
4. Provide a function
   

   myAffectedReports = dt << get reports with issues();​

   which returns a list of reports with issues with added rows or sorted data tables.
   Then the user can close the reports if he wants to.
   
   
5. at least:
   Provide a function
   

   myReports = dt << get reports();

   which returns a list with all reports with a link to the data table.
   ... independent of the actual name of the Window: Come ordinare la tabella dati all'interno di un'applicazione?
   Then the user can decide how he wants to continue ...

Perché questa idea è importante?

Con il comportamento attuale di Jmp alcune azioni come l'aggiunta di righe o l'ordinamento delle tabelle di dati non sono possibili quando un report è aperto.

In altri programmi, tali azioni possono essere eseguite senza problemi.

Esistono diverse possibilità per migliorare la situazione per gli utenti Jmp.

Nel migliore dei casi: piena funzionalità dietro le quinte, senza disturbare affatto l'utente.

Soluzione alternativa: ottenere TUTTO report e selezionare quelli che appartengono a dt.
