JMP internships allow students the ability to explore a possible future career, network with professionals in the field, and gain valuable experience they wouldn't get in the classroom. Interns are a valuable resource to JMP as well, helping us invest in our future success by discovering new talent and potential leaders.
The 'Meet the Interns' series display features these bright individuals – their work, their hobbies, and more! If you are an intern that would like to be featured, fill out this form.

Meet the Interns: Irene Ji (@IreneJi)
Manager: Ryan Lekivetz (@Ryan_Lekivetz)
Irene Ji is a PhD student at the Duke University. This summer, she is working as a JMP Research Statistician Software Development Intern in the JMP Development department.
"Irene is currently working on a principled approach to address the recurring "fault localization" problem faced by our testers." Advanced Analytics R&D Manager, Ryan Lekivtz says. "This problem pertains to identifying the set of inputs that cause a failure when you have some test cases that fail. Irene has demonstrated a rapid understanding of software testing and combinatorial testing concepts. We have high hopes that her research will result in one or more publications and enhance the covering array platform in JMP."
