COMPANY CONFIDENTIAL. DO NOT DISCLOSE.
In this episode: Inside Sales Account Rep @ShirleyFolmar talks about a win at carbon-negative materials pioneer Origin Materials. Key to the JMP team's success, she says, was their decision to include stakeholders from Origin's legal, IT and cybersecurity teams in the discussion at an early stage.
"Not only uncovering their core needs, but also learning of their current growth and expected trajectory -- including the expanding manufacturing operations in Canada -- is what opened the door for this particular multi-entity agreement conversation since they had a strong desire also to manage it all centrally out of their headquarters in the Bay Area," Shirley says. "Of course, IT, cybersecurity and legal, they had many questions and requirements. Thankfully I was able to really streamline that by providing our terms and due diligence information in advance."
"If IT and legal are involved key decision makers, it really makes sense to address their questions and concerns upfront versus really only talking to the end users we like to talk to."
So cool. Thanks @ShirleyFolmar and @Lovy_Singh
Great video, thanks for sharing! Also the hint with IT and Legal is again a reminder to not "ignore" them
It's really great to see such companies using JMP, would love to have an official success story or discovery talk soon to be able to promote via social media
Such a cool company. Fantastic stuff @ShirleyFolmar and @Lovy_Singh !
