Chaneen Cummings-Kouassi has 10 years of progressive human resources experience with subject matter expertise in employee relations, employment law, and compliance. Most recently, Chaneen was an HRBP at Grifols where she supported approximately 1200 employees. During her tenure as an HRBP, Chaneen spearheaded the creation of a new hire HR manager training and was instrumental in revamping her business unit’s performance management process. At JMP, she will primarily support U.S.-based employees.
Chaneen holds a Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Law degree and completed PHR certification through HRCI. While attending Rutgers University (New Brunswick) and Whittier Law School, Chaneen studied abroad in Mexico at La Universidad Autónoma del Yucatán for a semester and studied in South Africa at the University of the Western Cape during the summer.
Chaneen currently lives in Durham, NC with her husband and two children.

What are your hobbies and interests? 5K walks, roller skating, bowling, and going to the movies.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go? Tanzania
What did you want to be when you grew up? Marine Biologist
