Very first paid job? When I was 11, babysitting my two younger sisters and getting paid in watching the movie of my choice, Godzilla, and ordering a pizza with toppings that I wanted. After 20+ years, my sisters still haven’t let me live down how bad the movie was. My first real job was as a lifeguard and swim instructor.
Worst job? Being my wife’s “personal” chauffeur for the past 10 years. She’s lived in San Francisco for 11+ years and hates parallel parking, so I’ve been “hired” to handle all the driving.
An interesting fact about you? I am a Native San Franciscan, so if you need any recommendations I’ll tell you where to go!
Family/pets? I grew up with a standard poodle and now have numerous nieces and nephews (dogs, cats, and humans) who all love me.
Any hobbies or passions? Drinking coffee, hiking, cooking, traveling, finding bourbon, watching Oregon Ducks football or SF Giants baseball, reading, wine tasting, and enjoying SF life.
Epic vacation? My recent “solo” honeymoon to London and Paris in March. I had a blast seeing the sites and eating amazing food while my wife was stuck sick in bed. I had to tell her it was the worst trip of my life.
Anything else? I'm a big Premier League fan and root for Arsenal. You can find me most weekend mornings watching a match and cheering (or yelling depending on the match). I also got into running during COVID and am now a rnnr brand ambassador.
