MSA studies with a view to deploying SPC monitoring
In a process of improving industrial quality and detecting deviations, Teledyne E2V has generalized the implementation of SPC monitoring of the measurement steps associated with the critical process steps for the manufacture of components and detectors.
The purpose of this presentation is to illustrate how, using the JMP software, an analysis of the measurement systems was carried out as a preliminary step to the implementation of this monitoring, in order to determine the capability of the means of control.
In particular, two specific examples were chosen: a stage of destructive testing of a part for measuring mechanical strength, and a stage of functional electrical testing carried out at 100% to sanction each part leaving the production line.
