the speech topic : Construction, Properties and Analysis of Group Orthogonal Supersaturated Designs (Go-SSDs)
Summary of speech:
In this presentation, guests will introduce a new approach to building supersaturated designs (SSDs). This method divides the screening factors into several groups, and ensures that the factors in different groups are orthogonal to each other, and the factors in the same group are weakly correlated. At the same time, the first group is designated as a false factor group, so as to obtain an unbiased estimate of the error variance, and Develop efficient, design-based model selection procedures. Simulation results show that these designs, used with our model selection procedure, identify more active main effects than previous oversaturated designs. These designs and their automated analysis are new in JMP 15. This presentation will provide a demonstration of the GO SSD method, using a 12-experiment, 4-block orthogonal supersaturated design method, to obtain the 5 most significant factors.
