JMP internships allow students the ability to explore a possible future career, network with professionals in the field, and gain valuable experience they wouldn't get in the classroom. Interns are a valuable resource to JMP as well, helping us invest in our future success by discovering new talent and potential leaders.
The 'Meet the Interns' series display features these bright individuals – their work, their hobbies, and more! If you are an intern that would like to be featured, fill out this form.
Meet the Interns: Trevor Rathje
Manager: Candice Gervase
Trevor Rathje is a student at Appalachian State University studying Mathematics and Business. He is currently working on the Digital Operations team as a Data Analyst Intern.
This summer, Trevor will take a deep dive into JMP systems and customers to serve up insights into how we can sell more, sell faster, and identify various ways to increase revenue. His first project involves analyzing the JMP company store data to determine how many potential customers have at least one product abandoned in their cart. Based on the data and insights he provides, the goal is for sales to reach out to these customers, have a discussion and create a connection, and help them complete their purchase to increase our revenue and JMP first/net new customers as well.
“I am so excited to have Trevor on board this summer,” Salesforce Team Manager Candice Gervase said. “His background in mathematics and analytics brings the perfect combination for the amazing projects he will be working on to help us drive our business. Trevor is already making a positive impact, and I look forward to seeing what he does throughout the rest of his internship.”
