Custom function accessible from the Formula menu?

Hi JMP community,

Is it possible to create a custom function that can be "stored" and accessed from the Formula menu to be used as any other formula.

Custom function:

DIST = Function ({x,y},(((x - 10)^2) + ((y-2.4)^2))^0.5);

If it is not possible, would there be a work around to easily get the same formula applied to different tables (variable names may vary)?

You might check the File Exchange area for scripts and add-ins that might help your specific need. For example, this add-in copies formulas.

JMP 14 and JMP Pro 14 do support custom functions in the Formula Editor.

You can manage formulas outside of the column property environment. See Help for Formula Depot in JMP Pro.

I mistakenly looked in the Using JMP guide where all the formula and formula editor documentation resides and found nothing about it.
