For people just getting started with JMP, there are a multitude of free learning resources that help speed up the rate at which you learn to extract insights from data. With so many pages, resources, and options, it can be a bit confusing to know where to start. In this article, I share 7 Spanish-language resources available online that will help you get the most out of JMP.
JMP Basics
Here is a series of nine introductory videos with step-by-step guides to help you get started with JMP. This series will walk you through some of the most commonly used steps in the data analysis process.
Statistical Training Portal
The focus of this page is on statistical concepts, and not on the use of JMP. This page provides an introduction to basic statistics, such as correlation, ANOVA, and t-tests. The exploratory data analysis section also offers a high-level explanation of different types of graphs, how to interpret them, and when they can be useful.
Statistical Thinking for the Solving of Industrial Problems (STIPS)
This course teaches statistics and its application with JMP. The course has seven modules, and the first two modules are available in Spanish. Each module includes instructional videos, JMP demos, and exercises to practice the concepts taught.
On Demand Webinars
Recorded webinars are offered on this page, so you can watch them whenever and wherever you want. In 2022, the Beyond Spreadsheets series was launched live in Spanish, to help new users make the transition from Excel to JMP. The recorded sessions are now available on demand, and in 2023 we will offer parts II and III of the series.
User's Guide
For people who prefer to learn using a book-style format, the user guide offers detailed information. The user guide provides a general introduction to JMP, including exercises with sample data for practice.
