From May to August 2022, the airtight pass rate of a certain MINTH project product assembly is 81.6%~87.6%, which cannot meet the mass production airtight pass rate of 95%. The problem is mainly concentrated in the end cover welding air leakage, accounting for 50% Above, the air leakage defects of the end cover welding mainly include notch welding defects, too shallow notches, and poor fusion at the lap joints. Through the application of the Six Sigma method combined with JMP software to investigate and analyze the problem points, and successfully found the root cause, implemented the countermeasures suggested by the JMP software, and finally completed the goal of improving the pass rate of airtight performance.
