JMP internships allow students the ability to explore a possible future career, network with professionals in the field, and gain valuable experience they wouldn't get in the classroom. Interns are a valuable resource to JMP as well, helping us invest in our future success by discovering new talent and potential leaders.
The 'Meet the Interns' series display features these bright individuals – their work, their hobbies, and more! If you are an intern that would like to be featured, fill out this form.
Meet the Interns: Emily Cohen
Manager: Qiana Eiglan
This summer, Administrative Intern Emily Cohen, a student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, will be working with the Documentation Team. She will be implementing a deliverable that will display 12 JMP shortcuts to our users. This project is tentatively being called “Working Smarter in JMP”. Emily will also learn about Graph Builder and update the Graph Builder information in the Essential Graphing document.
"Our team looks forward to having a fresh set of eyes and a new perspective to help with these two doc projects," Technical Writing Manager Qiana Eaglin said. "As information delivery evolves and the ways in which our users consume information changes, it is important that JMP keeps up with these advances. I hope this internship experience will be mutually beneficial for JMP and Emily. By the end of the summer, I hope that JMP has great deliverables and that Emily learns JMP, has technical writing experience, and puts her Statistics education to good use."
