The On-Demand Webinar Library utilizes meta content in many ways. We need to make sure to enter the correct values for each webinar so that content/pages will display/list as intended. The following guide defines each of the main meta content items as displayed within the first tab of the Page Properties dialog...
Title
The title should almost always match a page’s h1 and be as descriptive as possible (and yet also as concise as possible).
Meta Description
This is the description that search engines will display on their listing pages (e.g. google.com). It should be a concise summary of the contents of the page written for the benefit of site users. AEM allows 320 characters (180 for Chinese, Korean and Japanese).

Release Date
All on-demand webinars should have a release date selected that closely matches the date it was first made available to users. Many of our top-level listing pages order by “most recent”. A webinar will NOT display in these lists without a specified Release Date.
Hide in Navigation
This is used by AEM to hide a page from Navigation Menu components AND List Groups components. For the most part, this should be left unchecked. However, we sometimes use this to hide deactivated pages in menus/lists when viewing at AEM author (in preview mode).
Hide in Lists
This is used by AEM to hide a page from List Group components (but not Navigation Menu components).
- All Mastering JMP webinars should have “hide in list” checked. This keeps Mastering JMP webinars from displaying on listing pages that are targeted for prospects.
Reference Content
Not applicable for on-demand webinars. Should be unchecked.
Folder
Not applicable for on-demand webinars. Should be unchecked.
