Thank you @Larry_LaRusso, and thanks to @MarilynWheatley for her continued work in translating STIPS - you've really gone above an beyond to bring the value of STIPS to native Spanish speakers!
Statistical Thinking for Industrial Problem Solving (STIPS) is JMP's popular free online statistics course designed for anyone interested in gaining practical skills using data to solve problems better. Originally developed in English, we've translated the full course into other languages, including Chinese, Korean, and Japanese.
For the past several months we've been working hard to release the course in Spanish as well. Module 1 in Spanish was released in July of 2022; module 2 in November, 2022; today, we announce the release of the Quality Methods module (module 3).
Providing this content in native language advances one of the most important goals of STIPS, to increase statistical literacy around the world, especially in the science and engineering communities. STIPS also offers companies an efficient and standard way to train data-driven decision makers within their organizations and is an extremely useful course for students, which will help them better solve problems in their future workplaces.
The release of the third module continues a module-by-module approach we're taking to tackle our next language translation. Though the first three modules are now available in Spanish, students don't have to wait for the release of others - they can still continue their learning by taking additional modules in English. The plan, however, is to continue to release additional modules, in Spanish, in the future.
Potential students can learn more (and get started!) by visiting the appropriate Spanish sites:
